RE : HANDLING, STORAGE AND TRANSPORTATION OF DANGEROUS GOODS – LECTURER EN. MOHD SAFFIAN

Please be informed that SFFLA had received numerous enquiries on this course. Therefore by popular demand the next course on the Handling, Storage and Transportation of Dangerous Goods on 18th July 2006 (Tuesday). SFFLA had intended to conducted this course monthly.

With this memo herewith the course content and registration form for your guidance. Please register your interest on the attached registration form and return to SFFLA before 3rd July 2006 (Monday).

This course will be claimable via the SBL Scheme. The Course fee is RM 300.00 for members and RM 400.00 for non-members.

With this circular please find the procedure for handling damaged dangerous goods in Port Area. Please note particular No. 2 (Responsibilities of Shipping Agent/Box Operator (Slot Charter) and Forwarding Agent for your perusal.

Kindly also note that Mr. Saffian Abdul Majid had retired from LPK with effected from 1 June, 2006 and his position would be replaced by Mr. Vijayaindiaran A/L Viswalingam.
